This is my J/24, Numbers. Although
I no longer own her, I still keep in touch with some of my racing pals.
Numbers holds nine Hudson River (HRYRA) District championships and more than a few club championships. This accomplishment is due in large part to the ability of my crews to consume beer.
This web page is my opportunity to publicly
state that without the many fine crewmembers who sailed with me from 1978
- 1988, Numbers would have been a loser. Thanks, everyone!

I
was president of HRYRA from the mid-70's through 1983. I also started
the Hudson River's J/24 fleet, Fleet 60. Of all my accomplishments in HRYRA,
I am proudest of having established a HRYRA sanctioning requirement for crew
trophies.
